Her Voice Over Boys (HVOB) are the electronic music duo from Vienna signed to Oliver Koletzki’s STIL VOR TALENT imprint. We’ve followed this talented duo right from the start having fell in love on first listen of their beautiful track DOGS. The pair have enjoyed huge success in the last two years, having released a debut album and taking their live performance on a European tour.
Their latest project is not simply just an EP track release – it’s a multimedia art project that encompasses audio, video and art installation tactics by way of the gorgeous videos to go with their music. This is an approach that they are also taking with their follow up album which is due for release in Spring 2015 (read our review of their debut album here) – exciting news indeed!
‘Window’ is a wonderfully delicate track that features the duo’s signature sound and Anna’s sublime vocals at its heart. There’s two remixes to support the original from two well respected and well known electronic artists – GUI BURATTO and ACID PAULI. Gui Boratto introduces a soft guitar riff and stabs of bass to his edit which really takes the track in a different direction; Acid Pauli brings a minimalistic edge to the track with drifting and distorted samples and hollow percussion. The duo have also included track ‘Oxid’ with the release, another beautiful HVOB composition. You can stream the EP in full below
